A research project on narcissistic personality — built by someone who had to understand it to survive it.

Who Writes This

I've been building software systems for 20 years. That means I think in architecture, not traits — I look for the structure that produces the behavior, not the behavior itself.

Over the past 10 years, I've been in close proximity to NPD — in the workplace, and in business partnerships. If you've ever had an NPD friend or colleague give you the binary choice — either you're fully with me, or you're a background character — you know the architecture I'm talking about.

The 0&1 Continuum framework didn't come from a textbook. It came from trying to understand why the same pattern kept repeating across completely different people, and why every "NPD resource" I found gave advice that stopped working the moment the context shifted.

This site is the tool I wish I had 10 years ago.

Methodology

I apply the same systems-analysis approach I use in software architecture to NPD behavior patterns. The framework is built on observed patterns across publicly documented cases, fictional characters, and structured analysis of behavioral evidence. It's a conceptual model, not a clinical diagnosis.

Every article passes through a multi-step research pipeline: material collection → structured outline → full draft → evidence review → insight checklist. Only articles meeting the information density standard are published.

Limitations

I am not a clinician. The Goldwater Rule applies: I do not diagnose real people. What I offer is pattern analysis — a way to see the structure, not a label to put on a person.
